Provisional dates for the 2014 ATRC series have been released. The calendar will be updated shortly to include these as well as any other relevant events such as the Hellas.
What are we looking forward to in particular? The Pikes Peak event was fantastic last year, however the addition of a roadbook section for the Rally class makes it sound like a really interesting event, a little different from the traditional UK rally where you simply follow the arrows.
February 2nd – Dyfi Rally (Grade 1/2)
This is a new event for 2014 run by MWTRA. It will be an easy going, fire road sprint format event. So a fast fireroad timed section about 14 miles in length with transponder timing to 000th of a second. There will also be a timing board for riders at the end of each lap so you can see your times as you cross the line.
March 8/9th – Brechfa Rally (Grade 3/4)
A rally based in West Wales run by Dyfed Dirt Bike Club. A good rally with a good mix of terrain with two timed sections per lap.
Aprll 20th – Pikes Peak Baja Rally (Grade 2)
A RallyMoto event based in the Terrenig Forest with a long special over varied terrain. For 2014 we are looking to have an extended roadbook section for the Rally Class bikes
May 17/18 – K2 Keilder Rally (Grade 2/3)
The infamous Keilder or now called the Rock Oil K2 Rally. It is based in the Keilder Forest and is a great event for the “Big Bikes”. For 2014 there will be a more technical course that involves a shorter lap length, so less fireroad cruising and we are promised two timed sections per lap.

May – RallyMoto supported European Event – 300MD – German Baja
A 2 day 300km roadbook event based near Liepzig.
The BAJA300 MITTELDEUTSCHLAND is a licence-free event for Enduros, Quads, Side-by-Sides, four-by-fours and off-road trucks. The rally consists of two special stages designed as a roadbook course. The timed qualifying session in combination with navigation skills between the single check-points (CP) will decide between victory and defeat.
The motto is: Two days of fun and sports combined with the possibility to go off-road. Communality and collegiality are the backbone of this event. In the qualifying sessions it is not only the perfect car that makes the difference. Also the interaction between the driver and the navigator as well as a good understanding of the road book, the compass ort he GPS are as important as a bit of luck to find the right track.
The event is carried out on dirt roads only but which lead through an active opencast mining. The instructions of the road book have strictly to be followed as dangerous edges, conveyer mechanisms and power lines are encountered

July 12 / 13 Rydale Rally (Grade 4/5) – not confirmed
The Ryedale is a fantastic event with a bit of everything thrown in – the event is focused on trail bikes and is very a very popular event. The course runs over two forests and there is even some road liasion. This is a friendly event set in the Yorkshire Dales near “Heartbeat”country.
August 9/10th Beacons Rally (Grade 4/5)
Back in the ATRC for 2014, this is probably the toughest event of the season which most closely resembles an enduro in terrain. For the better riders this is a good course but it does prove to be a real challenge for the “big” bikes and inexperienced riders.
Sept 14th Hafren Trail Rally (Grade 4)
The Hafren will start from the superb all weather Sweet Lamb motor sport complex, which offers guaranteed hard standing parking whatever the weather. The course will be a mix of fire road, forest tracks and open hill, with plenty of spectacular Mid Wales countryside. It will include a few more challenging optional routes on the liaison sections.
October 18/19th Cambrian Rally (Grade 2)
A WTRA event based just north of Llynne Brianne and it includes the “famous” splashes on Strata Florida. Generally a trail/big bike friendly event with a few short technical challenges but generally a good ride for the season closing event.
